The foundation stone was laid by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 6 October 2021. It was also announced to name the medical college after Baba Keenaram great India saint. After three years of continuous work, it is now getting ready. Baba Keenaram Medical College will start its session in 2024-25 with 100 seats. Besides, 420 beds are has been established in the district hospital for the treatment of patients.
The campus consists of an Admin Block, Academic Block, Lecture Block, Library, Double Seated Hostel for 120 girl students and 180 male students, Principal Residence, Intern Male and Female Hostel, Superintendent Residence, Guest House, Multipurpose Hall, Type 1,2,3,4. ,5 apartments (for accommodation of employees, doctors and officers), service building, STP, RWH etc. buildings have been constructed.
